You can paint a wine cellar, but the paint has to match a cool, moisture-sensitive environment rather than a normal interior room. Wine is traditionally stored at 10 to 16°C, and a cellar usually performs best when humidity stays around 50 to 70 percent. In that setting, standard decorative wall paint is often not enough.
